Ordering Information    USING THE SHOPPING CART Some custom-made items may have optional features. Be sure to mark your selections, the quantity desired, then click the "Add to Cart" button. You can view your shopping cart at any time by clicking "View Cart". You can continue shopping, make any changes, or proceed to check-out. When you proceed to check-out, you will be given the option to proceed without registering or to create an account. This simply stores your personal and shipping information to alleviate re-entering it upon your next visit. (No financial information is stored.) INSURANCE is highly recommended and must be added before completing the checkout process. Ohio residents will have 7% sales tax added to their order.   PAYMENT We accept secure credit card payments through CCCS, money orders and cashier's checks. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. WORLDWIDE SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE.   SHIPPING OR CUSTOMER PICK-UP We carry a variety of products in our store that vary in size and weight. Some need to be packaged individually to ensure safe delivery. In order to assure the most fair and accurate shipping costs for our customers, we use a real-time shipping calculator through USPS. Shipping charges are based on the total weight and destination of the packaged merchandise calculated from our site to your zip code via USPS Priority Mail. However, the internal shipping calculator does NOT figure dimensional weight (oversize boxes), nor can it determine if separate packaging is needed. In that event, additional shipping charges may be added based on the actual shipping cost. Larger boxed items and orders shipped to zones 5-8 (west of the Mississippi River) will be shipped via UPS to be more cost effective for our customers. Actual shipping costs will be calculated after packaging. All orders are shipped with delivery confirmation. For customers who wish to pick up an order at our retail location, please tick Customer Pickup when checking out. Items MUST be pre-paid in order to be held and picked up within a reasonable time frame.   RETURNS AND REFUNDS Retail merchandise and/or made-to-order items are non-returnable and non-refundable except in the event of a defect in material or workmanship. A return authorization must be received from The Olde Picket Fence via phone or email within five business days of delivery. The original merchandise must be returned in the condition it was received. We will make every attempt to correct the problem to the customer's satisfaction. If no replacement can be made, buyer will receive a refund in the form of store credit. PLEASE NOTE: This does not apply to merchandise damaged in transit. All orders are packed with the utmost care, but occasionally damage may occur that is beyond our control. Insurance may be purchased by clicking the link and making your selection before you begin the check-out process. Any reimbursement of shipping costs or damaged merchandise must be settled with the shipping company. Uninsured merchandise is shipped solely at the buyer's own risk.
